With over 36 years of experience in the mechanical services industry, Gary has overseen the successful delivery of major mechanical projects across various sectors. Starting his career as an apprentice at A&B Engineering in 1987, he progressed into contracts management, then to director, where he played a key role in managing the delivery of large-scale installations and ensuring projects were completed safely to the highest standards. As a co-founder of Verde Services, Gary oversees operations, ensuring projects are executed with precision and meet both client expectations and industry best practices. His extensive experience in managing teams, coordinating project delivery, and working closely with supply chains allows Verde Services to maintain a reputation for quality and reliability. With a strong focus on long-term client relationships, Gary is committed to delivering solutions that are both technically robust and commercially effective.

Luke is a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical and renewable engineering. Having started his career as an apprentice engineer, he progressed through roles in contracts management and pre-construction, gaining valuable expertise across the M&E and energy sectors. As a co-founder of Verde Services, Luke plays a key role in shaping the company’s direction, focusing on delivering high-quality mechanical and renewable solutions. With experience working on projects across commercial, public sector, and energy infrastructure, he understands the complexities of delivering technical installations to a high standard. His hands-on leadership style ensures clear communication between teams and stakeholders, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and service.

Liam is an experienced Operations Manager with a background in delivering complex mechanical systems across many sectors. Holding a First-Class Honours MEng in Mechanical Engineering, he combines technical expertise with hands-on project management to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery. Liam has also held senior roles at Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick, and more recently NG Bailey as a Senior Engineer. At Verde Services, Liam is responsible for overseeing mechanical projects from start to completion. He manages site activities, monitors progress, and ensures all works meet the required standards of quality, safety, and compliance. With a strong focus on delivering projects on time and within budget, Liam plays a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.

John is an experienced engineering professional who has a sound knowledge of all aspects of mechanical building services design. He is highly proficient in Energy Pro ADMS air dispersion modelling, Hevacomp, AutoCAD P&ID, and Revit. At Verde, he leads mechanical input on multidisciplinary projects, reviews mechanical designs, and monitors documentation and QA procedures, calculations, detailed design drawings, and specifications, ensuring conformity with current British Standards regulations. John also has extensive experience in energy efficiency from his work on energy performance contracts.

Grace is a highly competent HR office manager with eight years of expertise in office management, budgeting, finance, HR management, talent and performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement. Grace oversees the daily operations of Verde’s office, ensuring each department runs efficiently while supporting senior management. In addition to managing the internal HR function, she works closely with the Directors and department heads to align business operations with company objectives. Grace has worked within the engineering and construction industry for over 10 years, developing her knowledge of the industry. She continues to develop new business opportunities for Verde, attending networking events across the North West.

Nathan has developed a strong skill set in pre-construction and technical support within mechanical services. He has worked on projects across the education, residential, and transport sectors, including schools, apartment buildings, and infrastructure developments. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, Nathan produces detailed mechanical layouts and schematics that support project teams in delivering high-quality, compliant systems. His role includes reviewing project enquiries, analysing drawings, and coordinating pre-construction activities to develop accurate pricing proposals. Additionally, he contributes to project documentation by producing as-fitted drawings and technical reports.

With over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management, Sharon is responsible for overseeing all financial operations at Verde Services. She manages the company’s accounting systems, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. As finance manager, Sharon plays a key role in budget monitoring and project application management. Her structured approach and extensive financial expertise provide stability to the business, ensuring strong financial governance that supports project delivery and long-term growth.

Elliot is an enthusiastic individual who is particularly passionate about sustainability. He joined Verde after completing his degree in Business Management & Sustainability, bringing his knowledge of sustainability and the circular economy to the business. Possessing a strong foundation in environmental practices and corporate responsibility, Elliot excels in analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to drive sustainable initiatives. Throughout his time at university, he also focused on areas such as corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and global sustainability issues. Elliot focuses on the operational side of the business, helping deliver projects and ensuring excellence every step of the way.
