With over 36 years of experience in the mechanical services industry, Gary has overseen the successful delivery of major mechanical projects across various sectors. Starting his career as an apprentice at A&B Engineering in 1987, he progressed into contracts management, then to director, where he played a key role in managing the delivery of large-scale installations and ensuring projects were completed safely to the highest standards. As a co-founder of Verde Services, Gary oversees operations, ensuring projects are executed with precision and meet both client expectations and industry best practices. His extensive experience in managing teams, coordinating project delivery, and working closely with supply chains allows Verde Services to maintain a reputation for quality and reliability. With a strong focus on long-term client relationships, Gary is committed to delivering solutions that are both technically robust and commercially effective.

Luke Dwyer

Luke Dwyer
Luke is a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical and renewable engineering. Having started his career as an apprentice engineer, he progressed through roles in contracts management and pre-construction, gaining valuable expertise across the M&E and energy sectors. As a co-founder of Verde Services, Luke plays a key role in shaping the company’s direction, focusing on delivering high-quality mechanical and renewable solutions. With experience working on projects across commercial, public sector, and energy infrastructure, he understands the complexities of delivering technical installations to a high standard. His hands-on leadership style ensures clear communication between teams and stakeholders, maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and service.

Mark has over 30 years of senior leadership experience and brings a wealth of expertise in property, placemaking, and business development – both in the UK and internationally. In the past 15 years, Mark has led groundbreaking regeneration initiatives, including MiZa, Abu Dhabi – Working with the ruling family and The Baltic Triangle, Liverpool. He was awarded Honorary Fellowship by Liverpool John Moores University in 2019 for his contribution to small business growth and continues to champion social enterprise across the Liverpool City Region. Mark is committed to driving excellence and assisting Verde in the growth of the business.

Liam Reddington

Liam Reddington
Liam is an experienced Mechanical professional with a strong background in leading the front-end development of complex projects across multiple sectors. Holding a First-Class Honours MEng in Mechanical Engineering, he combines deep technical knowledge with strategic bid management and design coordination expertise. He has held senior roles at Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick and NG Bailey, gaining extensive experience in both pre-construction strategy and technical delivery. As Head of Pre-Construction at Verde Services, Liam oversees all pre-construction activities from initial enquiry through to contract award. He leads bid strategy, manages tender preparation, coordinates MEP design development, and ensures proposals are technically robust, commercially competitive, and aligned with client requirements. He also leads supply chain engagement, programme planning, risk management, and wider quality assurance across the pre-construction phase.

Stephen is a highly capable and results-driven Head of Mechanical with a strong Mechanical & Electrical engineering background. With over 18 years’ experience, he has led the commercial, contractual, and delivery elements of complex construction and engineering projects across multiple sectors. He has a proven track record in managing mechanical works from early planning through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure projects are well-coordinated, compliant, and delivered to the highest standards. At Verde, Stephen takes a leading role in overseeing mechanical project delivery, driving technical excellence, and supporting the wider team as the business continues to grow.

Conner is an experienced building services professional with expertise across healthcare, education, residential, and commercial projects. He has successfully led multidisciplinary design teams and managed complex projects from concept through to completion. With a strong focus on renewable and low-carbon system design, Conner excels in feasibility assessments and sustainable integration within modern building services. His technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to high-quality outcomes make him a valued member of the Verde team. At Verde, Conner will head up our Design Team, ensuring every project reflects the highest standards of quality and excellence.

With over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management, Sharon is responsible for overseeing all financial operations at Verde Services. She manages the company’s accounting systems, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. As finance manager, Sharon plays a key role in budget monitoring and project application management. Her structured approach and extensive financial expertise provide stability to the business, ensuring strong financial governance that supports project delivery and long-term growth.

Nathan Dwyer

Nathan Dwyer
Nathan has developed a strong technical and pre-construction background within mechanical services, working across education, residential, and transport projects. As Bid Manager, he oversees the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids. His responsibilities include reviewing project enquiries, analysing drawings and specifications, developing accurate pricing proposals, and ensuring all bid documentation is clear, compliant, and aligned with client requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, Nathan brings valuable technical insight to the bid process, strengthening the quality and accuracy of submissions.

Jimmy Doyle

Jim has been in the industry for 37 years starting as an Apprentice Pipefitter/Welder in 1988. Having worked across all sectors in the industry, Jim has experience working within Education, Healthcare, Industrial/ Commercial Buildings, Student Accommodation and Residential to name a few. For the past 17 years, Jim has worked at HE Simm in charge of overseeing the delivery of large projects looking after the quality of installations, health and safety, testing and documentation. He prides himself on always delivering to a very high standard, working collaboratively with main contractors and all of the supply chain, to create long term relationships.

Grace Stoker

Grace Stoker
Grace is a highly skilled HR Office Manager with eight years of experience in office management, budgeting, finance, HR management, talent and performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement. She holds a BAHons in Human Resource Management and is an Associate CIPD member. Grace oversees the daily operations of Verde’s office, ensuring each department runs smoothly while providing support to senior management. In addition to managing the internal HR function, Grace collaborates closely with the Directors and department heads to align business operations with company objectives. With over 10 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, she has developed strong sector knowledge and continues to drive new business opportunities for Verde by attending networking events across the North West.

James Murphy

James is a driven Junior Engineer with a strong foundation in building services engineering. He holds a Distinction in his HNC and is currently pursuing a degree at Liverpool John Moores University. James began his career at HE Simm, gaining valuable exposure across a wide range of departments within the industry. Since then, he has contributed to several Tier 1 contractors across the industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, building a well-rounded base of experience. At Verde, James works within the contracts team, supporting the successful delivery of projects while continuing to expand his technical knowledge and practical expertise.

Matthew joins Verde as a Project Engineer with a HNC in Building Services Engineering. Starting his career as an apprentice with an M&E contractor, Matthew gained hands-on experience across multiple business functions, developing a comprehensive understanding of what drives successful project delivery. He has since applied this knowledge to large-scale projects with Tier-1 contractors, acquiring valuable insights that will support his success at Verde. At Verde, Matthew is part of the Contracts team, contributing to the delivery of successful projects while continuing to expand his skills and expertise.

David Kirwin

Dave is an experienced Project Engineer, with more than 30 years’ experience in the building services industry. Starting out as a pipefitter, he worked his way up through supervisory and management roles at He Simm, leading projects across residential, pharmaceutical, and commercial sectors. His experience covers all aspects of mechanical services, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and solar PV. Dave has been involved in major schemes such as Media City, Middlewood Locks, and Bristol Myers Squibb, delivering each to a high standard from pre-construction through to completion. At Verde, David will be part of the Contracts team, contributing to the delivery of successful projects while continuing to expand his skills and expertise.
