Verde Visits Istanbul

The Verde Services Team recently travelled back to Istanbul to meet with our partners, Smart Technologies spending time with their Leadership Team and visiting their impressive new manufacturing facilities.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to review progress with our joint venture, observe on site operations, strengthen collaboration, and ensure continued alignment on our shared vision for future growth in the UK market.
It was fantastic to see the innovation and technology on display within SMART’s manufacturing and assembly facilities.
The trip was incredibly productive, with a focus on the next phase of our joint venture.
There are some exciting developments in the pipeline as we continue to shape our UK facing strategy, and we look forward to sharing more as plans progress!

Our Directors Luke and Mark met with Dr David Sprake and Richard Day at Wrexham University to explore opportunities for collaboration, driving innovation and advancing low carbon development in the region.
They discussed potential joint R&D in solar technology (including sponsored PhD research), Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, Degree Apprenticeships through the Low Carbon programme, and further work on whole system decarbonisation with the Estates team.
There is also exciting scope for research collaboration with Dr. Shafiul Monir, sponsorship within the Zero Carbon Lab, and curriculum input to help shape future industry ready talent.
