Verde Services are pleased to announce the beginning of our working relationship with Integral UK Ltd delivering technically complex mechanical packages on behalf of their client university of Liverpool.
Our first project on campus, now successfully completed, was delivered at the Surface Science Research Facility. The works involved the decommissioning and removal of existing dehumidification systems serving live laboratory spaces. These critical environments required careful planning to maintain operation during the works. In addition, we installed new sanitaryware equipment and modified existing supply ductwork to accommodate upgraded ceiling finishes. All activities were completed within a fully operational research setting, with minimal disruption to ongoing academic activity.
We are now mobilising for our next project at the Materials Innovation Factory (MIF). The scheme includes upgrades to the process chilled water infrastructure, comprising new chilled water pipework, replacement of pump and chiller plant, and modifications to the existing dry air cooler circuit. These works include phased isolation of services, system drain down and redosing, pressure testing, glycol dosing, and close coordination with BMS and external controls. The installation will be delivered within a live building with significant planning and access constraints, requiring detailed coordination with Integrals project management team to maintain continuity of operation for the university stakeholders.
This project forms part of the University of Liverpool wider strategy to modernise its campus and progress toward long-term decarbonisation goals.

Some of the Verde Services team enjoyed a brilliant afternoon at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity hosted at the scenic Huyton and Prescot Golf Club.
The sun made a welcome appearance, setting the perfect tone for a fantastic day of fundraising in support of an incredible cause. We were proud to sponsor the event and look forward to many more meaningful collaborations with Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity.
